I've always dreamed of owning my own lowrider mod shop. I'm 13 years old and I have an impala with prohopper hydros on it with wire 18"00 wheals. But im from montana and thear is no car shows around here. Also I don't even have my licens yet but my rides really!! hoppin.

Look at all these beautiful cars and beautiful people. Wouldn't it be great if they brought back cruise night again so we could see all of the great cars in this town that sit in their garages, and what a great way to get the people in Woodland out of their houses to hang out for one night a week. Ohe, and it would give the cops in this town something to do, other than give us tickets.

I remember Hot August Cruise Night ! I still have all my 'souviners' (dated plaques) I remember all my family getting together in the empty lot behind [what was]JCPenny's early in the day. with a bbq set up, pick-up beds lined with blankets for the little ones, lawn chairs, coolers filled with soda (& beer:) and seeing all our friends walking by and stopping to visit. I remember 'cruzin' down the sidewalk and actually moving along faster than the street traffic - that was just too cool (& no way think you have me 'dated' by my 'slang' ;) Too bad it had to go all 'organized'. I think it got 'organized' out of existance for the ordinary people. Still has some really nice rides though - I like the 'bikes' :) Becky

Original Woodlander--Look forward to the upcoming car/bike show. It's been 20+ years since we've moved away and entered a car show in Woodland.
Since our lowrider cruiser is long gone, I'm glad to see that you've combined bikes to the show. This gives us a good reason to "come back" and show off our Harley lowrider. See you June 11th!
